Effective emotion regulation has been linked to positive outcomes, including improved well-being, better interpersonal relationships, and enhanced resilience in the face of stress and adversity.
My therapeutic approach is eclectic and strengths based, utilizing cognitive behavioral approaches, insight-based work, motivational interviewing and expressive art techniques as appropriate for each individual. My experience includes attachment, special needs adoption, addiction & recovery, ACOA/codependency, trauma, women’s issues, and mood disorders.
I endeavor to approach each person non-judgmentally and with compassion. My strength lies in helping you recognize your strengths. I look for the “healthy strivings” in a person’s experience. I assume people are basically good and want to be happy. We just need help learning how to do that in a healthy and effective manner.
